What is LagunaART.com gallery?    

AN ARTIST-FOUNDED GROUP OF 400 ARTISTS, A PHYSICAL GALLERY NEXT TO NORDSTROM, AND THE APPLE STORE IN THE SHOP MISSION VIEJO MALL CA 2ND FLOOR. IT ALL STARTED AS A WEBSITE IN 2004 WITH 10 ARTISTS, THE WEBSITE EXPLODED WITH NEW ARTIST MEMBERS AND ART SALES DURING COVID-2020 - NOW 400 ARTISTS - as well as a virtual exhibitions membership for artists with shipped directly from the artists’ studio or the gallery. We have  A MISSION TO HELP ARTISTS MARKET AND PROMOTE THEIR WORK ONLINE AND IN THE PHYSICAL GALLERY. We also deliver art supplies to local children's hospitals.

**** The physical gallery is located in the Shops at Mission Viejo next to Nordstrom and the Apple Store in Southern California, with 8500 sq. ft of exhibition space. OPEN DAILY 11-7 pm. LagunaArt.com December 2025 Exhibition

Event Details:

  • Exhibition Dates: The show will be on display all of December 2025.
  • Reception Date: December 6, 2025 (3 PM - 6 PM) with music, food, and drinks!

Artist Requirements:

This is a titled exhibition rather than a themed one, which means we welcome a wide range of concepts and artistic styles. Artists are welcome to interpret the title as they wish, though creating work directly inspired by the title is entirely optional.

  1. Size Limitation :
    • 24”x 24” or smaller
    • Larger artworks that surpass the limit size (will require double registration) need approval by the curator on a case-by-case basis.
    • All pieces must be ready to hang with a secure and professional hanging system in place.
       
  2. Types of Art Accepted:
    • Paintings
    • Photos
    • Giclée prints (high-quality prints of original works)
    • Sculptures
  1. Number of Pieces:
    • You can submit up to 2 pieces.

Important Dates:

  • Drop-Off Dates:
    • December  1, 2, 3, 2025
    • 12 PM – 5 PM each day
  • Pick-Up Dates:
    • January 2, - 2026
    • 12 PM – 5 PM (Please pick up artwork between these hours, or shipping arrangements must be made for return).

Fees:

  • Registration Fee: $50 per artwork, only if the artist is accepted.
    • This fee is non-refundable.
  • Sales Commission: If your artwork sells, you (artist) will receive 70% of the sale price. The gallery RECEIVES 30%.

Payment for Sold Artworks:

  • Payment for sold artworks will be made on the first of the following month from the day of the sale.
  • Payments are made via Zelle.

Shipping Instructions:

  • If shipping your artwork, please include a business card-sized tag with the following information:
    • Artist Name
    • Artwork Title
    • Medium (e.g., painting, photo, giclée)
    • Size 
    • Date
    • Price
  • If you drop it off in person, the gallery will provide the tags to fill out.

Framing Services:

  • Frame-On offers affordable framing services for artists and is located at the gallery.

    • Artists are encouraged to contact Frame-On for good pricing on framing.

Other Important Notes:

  • Insurance: The gallery is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged artwork. Artists are responsible for ensuring their own work.
  • Registration fee ($50) is an artist expense, a tax write-off.
  • Performance & Sales Expectations: The gallery is not responsible if your artwork does not sell. While some pieces may sell, others may not. Please understand that sales can vary, and there is no guarantee that all artworks will be sold.

Virtual Exhibition (Optional):

  • If you'd like to sell your artwork online as well, email the gallery at info@lagunaart.com for more details and an application.

How to Sign Up:

  • To register, click the link below to join the show.
  • Registration Fee: Pay $50 per piece you wish to submit (up to 2 pieces). example; 1 piece = $50 or 2 pieces = $100

👉  *** If you want to register more than one piece, you can, just enter in the shopping cart “quantity” to the quantity of pieces. Oversized pieces need permission and are double registration IF accepted. Sorry, no more than 2***
