My paintings are just an intersection of landscape and abstraction. I am interested in creating spaces and distances that are ambiguous and abstracted. In my painted world, visual plains of distant views intersect, colors overlap, and geometrics create a scene and depth within an abstracted world.
I retired from a long and rewarding career as a micro-chip physical designer and architect. Currently, I am a Laguna Beach California resident where I spend my time painting, photography and writing books.
