Struggling Artist Syndrome: the pattern of symptoms that characterize or indicate the particular social condition of spending all your time and money on an artistic ideal in the hopes of someday "making it."
I’ve been an artist since I could hold a crayon. I’ve always drawn and painted as long as I remember. Why sorethum? Because my artwork stands out like a sore thumb. Too many things inspire me to mention, but I make art because People don’t buy what you do, or how you do it. They buy why you do it and how it makes them feel. I make art to tell stories, to call attention to injustices, and to point out obvious problems with the world today. I am incomplete as an artist until I make these connections with people through my art. It’s a beautiful thing to encourage love with a full heart and I value your interest in my work.
I work with acrylics, mixed materials, and a lot of patience! Everything I make is by hand and heart.
