ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Bijan Fahimian
Bijan received a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, followed by a Master of Science in Architecture. After a long and rewarding career as a professional architectural model maker—specializing in precise, photorealistic miniatures—he transitioned to abstract painting to explore a more expressive and intuitive form of creativity.
His architectural background continues to influence his artistic practice, enabling him to blend structure with spontaneity in a unique and compelling way. Photography and design also play a significant role in his work, enhancing his ability to share imaginative visual narratives with a wide and diverse audience.
With over 30 years of experience working in oil, acrylic, graphic arts, and mixed media, Bijan constructs surreal, abstract worlds that examine the tension between chaos and control. His paintings emphasize compositional harmony, balance, and disciplined execution—hallmarks that echo his architectural roots. Each piece invites viewers into a newly imagined realm, brought to life with the same meticulous attention to detail that defined his earlier career.
