ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Lorena Maggi
Lorena Maggi was born in Argentina in 1978. She painted since she was a child. She studied Advertisement In Rosario. After finishing his studies, deeply interested in Carlos Castaneda’s teaching and the culture of ancient América she traveled through México and California. In 2000 She found her second home in Napa Valley, California were she stablished for 10 years. There, she studied privately and finished her A.A degree in Fine Arts and A.S. In Communication and Behavioral Science in Napa Valley College. Was member of the Calistoga Art Guild, and exhibited her work in several places, among them St.Supery Winery, Main Element galery, Carneros winery, Bank of America. She made colaborative exibitions between Napa and Buenos Aires in Galeria Mitra, B&Revale Gallery, Palace Hotel. Back in Argentina in 2010, she worked in films As “Caito”produced by Pablo Trapero and “We all have a Plan”, played by Vigo Mortensen and directed by Ana Piterbag. In love with cinema has explored animation with painting and music. Actually, she continues studing and producing art and videos. She si mother of two children and back in her home town in Marcos Juárez she has dedicated her time to Teaching, painting and doing murals for the community.
