ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Alexandra Peacher
Alex is a self-taught artist residing in Brooklyn, New York. Originally from New Mexico, she moved to New York City to pursue a creative career after graduating from New Mexico State University.
Influenced by nature and its ability to produce perfection on its own, her wax paintings are created by pure emotion of the moment. Her background in dance and curious perception of the world heavily influence her works movement and composition. She began painting after moving to New York as a form of self-expression and meditation to escape the nonstop energy of the city. All work is created in her studio in Brooklyn.
