ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Celene Favila
Celene Favila is an abstract contemporary artist and romantic poet based in Southern California.
Since living in Orange County, she has exhibited in Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Santa Ana, San Juan Capistrano, Winter Festival at Sawdust in Laguna, and commissioned for commercial and residential artwork.
Celene’s abstract paintings have been coined as soothing. She enjoys creating a poem for her paintings to give it a personal and authentic touch. Her recent inspiration comes from living near the ocean and traveling abroad throughout Europe.
She’s a current SCA (Southern California Artist Association) member, founder of an Instagram poetry feature page, and holds a Master’s in Industrial / Organizational Psychology. Her favorite artist is Georgia O’Keefe and recently visited O’Keefe’s museum in Santa Fe and her home museum in Abiquiu, New Mexico.
