Contemporary artist, Jennifer Beaudet (newly married name, Zondervan), was born in Southern California, in 1970, and has lived in California her whole life. She earned an AA degree from El Camino College, where studied with pastel
landscape artist, Carson Gladson. After raising her daughter, as a single mom, she opened her Etsy shop Jbeaudetstudios in 2009 and started sharing and selling her work on her blog beaudetart.blogspot.com. Jen uses both a brush and palette knife, sometimes even her fingers, to achieve the right texture. Her work is an expression of her passion for beauty, and stands out, with her use of rich bold and harmonious colors. Jen keeps her work fresh by continuing to learn and explore new materials and techniques. Her loose and expressive style is an expression of her emotions. She currently paints in her small studio, in San Clemente, CA, where she continues to focus on florals and figures. Being inspired by the beauty that surrounds her, she also paints California landscapes and other beautiful areas she’s traveled.
