ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Kimberly Campbell
My name is Kimberly Campbell. I am a self-taught artist and have been creating as long as I can remember.
I don’t think my art falls into a category. When it comes to my canvas art and personal creations, I paint what I feel and let that be my guide. I can say I create with color, all of them. While I may have “favorite colors” I do not have favorites in my artwork. I use them all.
I have worked in film and television building creature costumes and doing scenic art, and have traveled around the country working on jobs building both theme parks and hotels as a concrete sculptor and scenic artist, as well as a muralist.
Several years ago I was diagnosed with epilepsy and that really affected my painting until I decided to use it to heal. I began putting a brush on the canvas again and it felt so good. I later discovered neurographic art and began incorporating it into some of my creations.
I am finding that my art is becoming and growing more interesting. I hope, with every painting I do, that someone finds benefit. Art creates feeling. Art creates healing. I hope you enjoy the pieces I have left free.
