ABOUT THE ARTIST:
May Attar
My name is May Attar, and I am a California based artist.
I hold a Bachelor of Art degree and have been painting for the past 20 years. I get my inspiration from nature and travels, and my work reflects my life journey. My technique combines bold, choppy and strong strokes, using brush, palette knife and mixed media.
I love to spread joy with my paintings. My art pieces are colorful, bright, and upliftings.
I live in Irvine, and I create most of my art pieces in my studio. I am also passionate about teaching art to children of all ages and have been giving art classes for the past four years.
I am currently working on a new abstract collection.
