Born and raised in France, Natalie Gourdal was a model in Paris, traveled the world extensively.
She studied Art in France before moving in Los Angeles in 1985.
She enriched her Art education at the “Art Institute of California “ in Laguna Beach and took workshops with Jackie Kamin, Peggy Kroll-Robert, Ken Auster, Maria Bertran and Bob Burridge.
Natalie has shown and sold her paintings at the “Laguna Coast Gallery “, Cove Gallery and “The Virga Gallery” in Laguna Beach.
She also sold her paintings at “the Sawdust Festival “ for 2 years in Laguna Beach.
For years, she painted Provençal landscapes inspired by the country of her youth.
During a trip in New York and walking the streets of the Big Apple, she was truly inspired to start something new and different.
When working at her home studio she enjoys listening soft jazz which bring her peace, happiness and joy.
She is a resident of Laguna Beach since 1989
