ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Tatham Smith is a NYC based artist and writer.

Tatham is known for her humorous boldly colored pop-like works as well as her witty dark portraits which Gallery and Studio Magazine calls “especially strong works that render the cliche ‘portrait painting is dead’ patently ridiculous…”

Tatham shows her works in Los Angeles, Prague, London, Laguna Beach, and New York City. Her solo shows include one every year for ten years at the Pleiades Gallery, the Viridian Gallery, Saatchi and Saatchi in Prague, and the Laguna Beach Art Gallery. Tatham participated in TOAST.

Tatham’s works can be seen in several publications, magazines, and books including Le Petit Economist Illustre.

Tatham is a member of the Pleiades Gallery in Chelsea, NYC.

Her works were licensed through the Bridgeman Art Library, rented/sold through Artiva, and are represented by Laguna Art.

Tatham was one of fifty artists chosen worldwide by Sing for Hope, a charity which provides art and music for all, to paint a piano which could be seen and played on the streets of NYC for the month of June ‘19. Tatham’s piano is titled; Find Your Voice. Helping people to overcome adversity to come out the other side and find their voice is Tatham’s primary mission.
