ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Danielle Lauzon
Danielle Lauzon is an abstractionist living in the countryside near Montreal, Québec, Canada. Her works give the feeling that the canvas is more than a visual space, but also the space of a tale. A tale between the visible and the sensible. Her paintings can be read in many ways. The first is obviously abstract and characterized by the strong informal aspect in the treatment of colors. A second reading gradually reveals the figurative, complex, confusing ramifications of the sketched stories. She did many solo and group exhibitions in Canada and in other countries (Italy, China, Morocco, Jordan, Portugal).
