Description - This was taken at Aliso Beach in Laguna Beach. It was a cloudy evening which usually isn't great for our light when we shoot. However, the water had this metallic sheen to it this night which gave us some really cool shots. I was able to capture this wall of water with the really cool contrasting color of the clouds behind it. It reminds me of an emerald or a gem...and the clarity when it is printed is what I love the most!

Kevin Avery
"Kevin is a local Orange County artist that loves surfing and being in the water as much as possible. Prior to finding ocean photography, whenever he was in the water he would see the ocean do something unbelievable...and he always thought to himself, "I wish I captured that on camera!"
So now he does!
Kevin loves photography and he loves the ocean...and he feels very fortunate to live in a place where he gets to experience both as often as possible. When he is not in the water or making photos...he loves spending time with his family at his home in Ladera Ranch."
