What is LagunaART.com gallery?    

AN ARTIST-FOUNDED GROUP OF 400 ARTISTS, A PHYSICAL GALLERY NEXT TO NORDSTROM, AND THE APPLE STORE IN THE SHOP MISSION VIEJO MALL CA 2ND FLOOR. IT ALL STARTED AS A WEBSITE IN 2004 WITH 10 ARTISTS, THE WEBSITE EXPLODED WITH NEW ARTIST MEMBERS AND ART SALES DURING COVID 2020 - NOW 400 ARTISTS - as well as a virtual exhibitions membership for artists with art auctions and 'buy it now' artwork options shipped direct from the artists’ studio or the gallery. We are a non-profit 501c3 WITH A MISSION TO HELP ARTISTS MARKET AND PROMOTE THEIR WORK ONLINE AND IN THE PHYSICAL GALLERY. We also promote arts education for kids with a classroom in the gallery with 3 art teachers; all of the art supplies are 100% donated to the classroom. We also deliver art supplies to local children's hospitals.

**** The physical gallery is located in the Shops at Mission Viejo next to Nordstrom and the Apple Store in Southern California, with 8500 sq. ft of exhibition space. OPEN DAILY 11-7 pm. Laguna Art March 2025 Exhibition

Event Details:

  • Exhibition Dates: The show will be on display all of March 2025.
  • Reception Date: March 1, 2025 (3 PM - 6 PM) with live music, food, and drinks!

Artist Requirements:

  1. Size Limitation :
    • 24”x 24” or smaller
    • Larger artworks that surpass the limit size (will require double registration) need approval by the curator on a case-by-case basis.

       
  2. Types of Art Accepted:
    • Paintings
    • Photos
    • Giclée prints (high-quality prints of original works)
    • Sculptures

  3. Number of Pieces:
    • You can submit up to 3 pieces.

Important Dates:

  • Drop-Off Dates:
    • February  25, 26, 27, 2025
    • 12 PM – 5 PM each day
  • Pick-Up Dates:
    • March 29, 30, or 31 2025
    • 12 PM – 6 PM (Please pick up artwork between these hours or shipping arrangements must be made for return).

Fees:

  • Registration Fee: $50 per artwork only if the artist is accepted.
    • This fee is non-refundable and is a donation to the nonprofit.
  • Sales Commission: If your artwork sells, you will receive 70% of the sale price. The gallery keeps 30%.

Payment for Sold Artworks:

  • Payment for sold artworks will be made on the first of the following month from the day of the sale.
  • Payments are made via Zelle.

Shipping Instructions:

  • If shipping your artwork, please include a business card-size tag with the following information:
    • Artist Name
    • Artwork Title
    • Medium (e.g., painting, photo, giclée)
    • Size 
    • Date
    • Price
  • If you drop it off in person, the gallery will provide the tags to fill out.

Framing Services:

  • Frame-On offers affordable framing services for artists and is located at the gallery.

    • Artists are encouraged to contact Frame-On for good pricing on framing.

Other Important Notes:

  • Insurance: The gallery is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged artwork. Artists are responsible for insuring their own work.
  • Non-Profit Donation: The registration fee ($50) is a donation to a 501(c)(3) non-profit for kids in hospitals and schools. You can use this donation for a tax write-off.
  • Performance & Sales Expectations: The gallery is not responsible if your artwork does not sell. While some pieces may sell, others may not. Please understand that sales can vary, and there is no guarantee that all artworks will be sold.

Virtual Exhibition (Optional):

  • If you'd like to sell your artwork online as well, email the gallery at info@lagunaart.com for more details and an application.

How to Sign Up:

  • To register, click the link below to join the show.
  • Registration Fee: Pay $50 per piece you wish to submit (up to 3 pieces).
