Carie Pytynia has been painting since her late teens, receiving recognition through local awards in her hometown of Illinois. During her residency in France from 1989 to 1990, she further honed her skills under the tutelage of an Italian painter, which greatly influenced her artistic style.
While later raising her children, Carie transitioned from realism to abstraction in her artwork. Over the years, she has primarily sold her pieces through commissioned work and contributed to local school fundraisers, including the San Clemente Educational Foundation in Orange County, CA.
Her love for artistic expression and creating beauty extended into the field of professional makeup artistry, where she has excelled for over 33 years, bringing her artistic vision into the three-dimensional realm.
