Lola Szent-Gyorgyi
I am a California Abstract artist currently based in Palm Springs, California.
My focus are the CONNECTIONS in natural beauty around us.
NATURE, in its simlicity,& the extraodiary intricacy of the Universal Design.
I see connections and similarities that brings us together, in the design & structure of the atoms, cosmos, riverbeds, oceans, city architecture, vascular & nervous systems, our beliefs and customs, music, art, language ..we are all more similar than different.
And all around us in Nature, Music, culture, language , mythologies and belief systems are all CONNECTED through Similarites.
I am inspired by Nature, Pop culture, Advertising, Music, Fashion, Street Art, Mythology, Folk Art, Language / Calligraphic design and Architecture.
The main source for my art though, comes from directly from NATURE all around us.
My materials are often high chromatic, or very mono chromatic, textured and I love untraditional usage of untraditional materials.
In this shared understanding of our familiarities & connectedness, we find Beauty all around us & have a sense of Harmony & Happiness.
