Description: This portrait of Daniel Arsham was made by rolling different shades of clay and attaching them to a tile while the clay is still wet. Glaze is then applied before the final firing.
Daniel Arsham is a New York based artist who has had a huge influence on me and my pursuit of art.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Daniel Monroe (Ceramicist)
Daniel Monroe is a ceramic artists based out of Fullerton, California, although I was originally raised in Woodinville, Washington. I’ve been working in ceramics since graduating college in 2020 with my ceramic wares being used in ABLE Coffee’s two locations in Fullerton and Huntington. My current focus is on portraits, lamps and wall art.
