ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Maxim Titov

Maxim Titov resides in Penza, Russia. Maxim is currently 39 years old. He has been working in this field of art since the age of 16. He graduated from Penza Savitsky Art School in 2002, followed by Saint Petersburg Repin Academy of Art in 2008.

Maxim is an awardee of a Russian Fund of Culture Prize (2001) as well as a Sculptor Oreshnikov’s Prize (2005). Maxim was a participant at the International Symposium of Sculptors as well as other exhibitions in Carrara and Bagnone (Italy) in 2002. Maxim has been showing his works at multiple exhibitions of Russian Art Academies and Russian Union of Artists in Saint Petersburg. He has participated in the International Symposium of Sculptors in Penza city, Russia (2015). Maxim participated in the restoration of the Homer and Aristotle sculptures that grace the facade of a Russian National Library in Saint Petersburg. In 2016, Maxim created two monuments currently exhibited in Penza Russia dedicated to the Russian National Heroes in Penza Region, Russia.

Maxim works with many sculpting medias: marble, sandstone, limestone, clay, cement, wood, bronze, granite and ice. Maxim admits his passion and specialty is creating portraits.
