ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Olga Lavrova
Olga grew up in Orange County, CA and graduated from UCLA with a degree in Mathematics/Economics. Later deciding on a career change, she lived for several years in Moscow, Russia, where she studied art. In 2021 Olga moved back to California, where she now lives with her family and creates her paintings.
Olga's preferred medium is oil with a palette knife. Her signature subject is townscapes, portrayed as reflections of people that inhabit them, and also as almost living creatures in their own right.
Olga's aim is to create art that spurs personal introspection and elevates humanistic principles.
