ABOUT THE ARTIST:

H. Craig Jackson

Creativity is the "Key"!

Seeking answers, gathering knowledge, unlocking mysteries? Art and the alchemy of painting poses questions, elicits great emotions, solves seemingly unanswerable quandaries and most remarkably, manifests magic!

Painting as meditation, as incantation, as prayer.

The art of H. Craig embraces and employs a number of nuanced and thoughtful disciplines. This curated selection expresses themes of Celebration and Struggle! Each magical work is linked, forming a grand an unexpectedly satisfying collection of Figurative, Abstract and Abstract Figurative Masterworks!

Utilizing grass mats, bamboo & other natural materials and recycling whenever possible, to illustrate the themes of transformation and rebirth. H Craig presents the elegant and the surreal, born of his Creative, Spiritual, Cultural and Historical experiences here and abroad.

The New York native, learned to embrace his perspective and share this singular vision as a successful, young, working artist, prior to attending the celebrated School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
H. Craig’s travels, including North Africa, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, and crisscrossing Europe and the “States”, he further developed and mastered many disciplines and continues to embrace new techniques, cultures, experiences and challenges…
