Ronald Guerin began his career as a professional photographer with the United States Air Force 1984-1988 at Holloman Air Force Base as a Still Photographic Specialist with the USAF. After his four year tour of duty became the staff photographer for the Alamogordo Daily News from 1988-1994 winning awards with the New Mexico Press Association & Associated Press newspaper awards in respected divisions. Ronald Guerin had early aspirations as an artist in his early childhood after finding the name of famous artist Jules Guerin. During 2002 went back to college at the International Academy of Design & Technology with the emphasis on Graphic Design, Web Design, Social networking & Media Design Management with the focus of his studies on the four influences of great artists; Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dali, and Andy Warhol. Ronald Guerin finished his Masters degree at the International Academy of Design in Tampa Florida with a solo exhibition held at the Ybor Art Studio in Tampa, Florida and his work was featured at John Bishop Salons, and in Downtown Tampa, Florida at the Sky Point Condominiums.
Ronald Guerin is a contemporary artist with artistic influences from Van Gogh, Picasso, Dali and Warhol. My dream is to be the next artist of critical acclaim.
