I am a third generation Japanese-American; born in Japan as a military dependent, in other words, an army brat. I had an interest in photography since I was a child but didn't explore my talents until I began working as a professional in Hawaii. Since then, I have sharpened my technical skills as well as my aesthetic vision. Many of my themes are derived from the times I spent near the ocean: Hawaii and Southern California. My Seraphim Collection are visualizations from my metaphysical explorations into spirituality.
I like to manifest my creativity and spiritual insights by expressing them in various mediums from photography to music to writing and more. You can say I follow my creative spirit.
Being born in Tokyo, Japan, I am a result of two cultures, American and Japanese, taking the best of both and a little of the worst. I have delved into transcendental states of consciousness and discovered insights into myself and the universe with explorations into art, spirituality, science and philosophy.
Aside from creative, spiritual and intellectual pursuits, I have swam with dolphins, surfed big waves in Hawaii, been in Hollywood films, played Eskimo baseball with Inuits, have written, recorded and produced original music, have written six books, six screenplays, been a radio DJ and copywriter, have gigged in various clubs in Los Angeles with my own bands and currently enjoy optimizing my values through creativity and inspiration.
