Robert Johnson was the first musician let alone famous person to past away from drug/ alcohol related death at age 27 in the early 1930’s, eventually starting “the 27 club”. He supposedly sold his soul to the devil. He was put in to the “Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame” and is a legend now for his guitar skills. “Devo” the artist used many blue and purple hard body acrylics for the body of this piece. The vibrant pinks, yellow, and oranges were layered on for the back ground by hand made squeegee and palette knives to make the portrait pop.
